Professor Ditchfield is Head of Paediatric Imaging at Monash Medical Centre and Professor of Paediatric Imaging at Monash University. He has worked as a paediatric radiologist for over 25 years and has a strong commitment to teaching and research. He completed a Doctorate of Medicine, has over 140 peer-reviewed publications, has received Grant support of over A$9M for research, has been a college examiner since 1999 and is on a number of paediatric imaging advisory bodies for the Australian College and Government and the College. He is actively involved in outreach programs with Monash International to Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
