The Annual Scientific Meeting of the Asian and Oceanic Society for Paediatric Radiology 2023 will be held in Hong Kong on 2-3 September 2023 at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine via a PHYSICAL meeting.

AOSPR 2023 HK Typhoon Contingency Announcement
As Typhoon Saola moves closer to Hong Kong, all participants are requested to note the respective contingency measures in the event of Tropical Cyclone (commonly known as “typhoon”) No. 8 Signal (or above), or the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal being issued during or before the commencement of AOSPR Congress.

A. Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above)

At 6:00 am:

If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) is issued or in force, all morning and afternoon sessions will move to Zoom webinar, and in person meeting at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM) will be canceled.

During Congress at HKAM

The meeting at HKAM will be closed in two hours after the typhoon announcement, the Congress will move to Zoom webinar.  The Organiser will notify the participants at once via onsite announcement and through AOSPR website.

B. Black Rainstorm Warning Signal

At 6:00 am:

If the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued or in force,  all morning and afternoon sessions will move to Zoom webinar, and in person meeting at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine will be canceled.

As part of the contingency preparation, Zoom meeting details will be sent via email to all registrants.  Zoom webinar will not be activated if weather conditions allow for in-person AOSPR 2023 meeting at Hong Kong Academy of Medicine.

Congress Banquet at Hong Kong Country Club:
In case Typhoon No. 8 warning is hoisted at 4pm on 2 September (Saturday), Congress Banquet will be postponed to 3 September (Sunday) 6pm.  In the event Typhoon No. 8 warning is hoisted at 4pm on 3 September (Sunday), Congress Banquet will be canceled.
